   <description><![CDATA[Well I think they're here to stay...&nbsp;&nbsp;looking around the bunch there is certainly an increases in the number of SRM's and powertaps being used in competition this season.<br /><br />I got mine last week (powertap) and managed to sort out how to download it last night (decorating, easter 3 day and not having a serial to USB adapter doesnt help (ebay Â£6, works a treat <img src="/blahdocs/Smilies/wink.gif" style="vertical-align: middle" alt="" /> )).&nbsp;&nbsp;The computer has the capacity to store second by second (actually 0.79 hz sampling rate) data for HR, power, cadence and speed for every training ride I do (and when I get a second sensor kit racing too). The basic software gives a good overview of how hard you've trained, allows training data to be exported to excel and, overtime, provides an interpretation of where your strengths and weaknesses are over the intensity spectrum. I hope this will take the guess work out of training and enable me to more effectively target my training to provide specific results. I have wanted to get a power meter for ages but SRM and Powertap are out of my price range.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have seen the power meter for £185 on line, and am seriously thinking of getting one, but want to know if they are any good.]]></description>

   <description><![CDATA[Well...............I got to write up a coursework piece for my P.E. The coursework has to be on your best sport etc etc. I'm doing cycling. But................<br><br>In it you have to include a bit on skills and how to develope them etc etc showing pictures rar rar rar......<br>I was given an example of this by looking at the tennis serve, throwing the ball up, reaching back, brushing your ear on the way through. Then to develop that skill she showed us pictures of a slice serve, topspin, and power serve.<br><br>Now what sort of skill could i use for cycling...............<br><br>please help me. <img src="/blahdocs/Smilies/grin.gif" style="vertical-align: middle" alt="" />]]></description>
