Well I think they're here to stay...  looking around the bunch there is certainly an increases in the number of SRM's and powertaps being used in competition this season.

I got mine last week (powertap) and managed to sort out how to download it last night (decorating, easter 3 day and not having a serial to USB adapter doesnt help (ebay £6, works a treat )).  The computer has the capacity to store second by second (actually 0.79 hz sampling rate) data for HR, power, cadence and speed for every training ride I do (and when I get a second sensor kit racing too). The basic software gives a good overview of how hard you've trained, allows training data to be exported to excel and, overtime, provides an interpretation of where your strengths and weaknesses are over the intensity spectrum. I hope this will take the guess work out of training and enable me to more effectively target my training to provide specific results. Will let you know how I get on...

er not me!!! Just sold my mountain bike to recoup the cost!!

Sold the set of Vento wheels I had spare yesterday and also selling a Zipp 440 rear wheel (£150), maybe that's what you confusion stems from?

I've now got an extra fitting kit for the race bike (as seen in action at Mountbatten last week), interesting looking at data.  Another kit is on its way for the TT bike!  For all the rear wheels I have in the garage I'm only using 1 across all my bikes at the moment (and its a yellow wheel with a metallic blue tyre on it   )!

Just need a track converter for the wheel and we'll see what we can do on the boards come the Autumn!

Anyone selling an powertap SL wheel cheap??
